At Tregarthen’s, we offer dog-friendly accommodation, for a small charge of £20 per night. Dogs are welcome everywhere in the hotel except the Restaurant. However, if you would rather not leave your dog in your room during breakfast or dinner, we are happy to serve your meal in the Lounge or Conservatory (or on the terrace if it is a fine day) so your four legged friend can stay by your side.
Travelling to the Isles of Scilly with dogs
You can either take the Scillonian, the passenger ferry from Penzance (dogs travel with you and must remain on a lead) or you can fly on the Skybus from Land’s End or Newquay. Only one dog is allowed per flight and canines must travel in an RSPCA approved animal box.
Restricted beaches for dogs
Between1st May-30th September, some beaches on the islands are closed to dogs, but all other beaches welcome dogs all year round so there are always plenty of places where you and your dog can roam free. The beaches that are closed to dogs between 1st May – 30th September are Old Town, Porthcressa and Porthmellon.
