Deposits

A deposit of £100 per person per stay is required and reservation is made on receipt of deposit.

Dogs

We regret that dogs cannot be accommodated in the hotel with the exception of guide dogs.

Conditions

Rooms will be charged for unless vacated by 10.30am on day of departure. Your rooms will be ready by 2.30pm on day of arrival. The proprietors are not responsible for any property lost in the hotel unless deposited at the office for safe keeping and a receipt obtained.

Cancellations

Deposits are not returnable in the event of cancellations. The hotel will make all reasonable efforts to re-let the accommodation, but if this fails guests are respectfully reminded that they are liable for the loss incurred.

You are advised to insure against the possibility of cancellation. You will find an insurance application form enclosed with confirmation of booking. A pro-rata charge will be made in the event of guests arriving late, or departing early through disruption of air or sea services or otherwise.

If the hotel has booked a flight (Skybus only) or boat transfer on your behalf, and you wish to cancel or change any aspect of your flight or boat ticket, please note the following:

1) Should you wish to change any aspect of your ticket you must contact Isles of Scilly Travel in advance. Any additional fee will be calculated and you will be given the option of accepting the new price or maintaining your original ticket. All changes must be notified at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time of the original sailing/flight and may only be made by the passenger named in the booking and/or the person who made the original booking

2) 48 hours notice must be given for all cancellations. Bookings that are cancelled before this time will be subject to a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled departure time will not be refunded.

For all breaks for which the hotel has purchased helicopter tickets at a discount on your behalf, the following conditions apply in relation to the helicopter operator, British International. There is a charge of £25 per ticket for cancelling reservations provided the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Cancellations made within 24 hours or 'no shows' will result in no refund being given. There is a charge of £25 per booking for any alterations such as change of name or itinerary.

The Restaurant

Sea view tables are limited and cannot be guaranteed during your stay. If you book 'dinner, room and breakfast' no allowance can be made for meals not taken. Please note that the hotel operates a smart casual dress code in the restaurant and that mobile phones are switched off.

Disabled visitors

Please note access to the hotel is via a public path up fifteen steps and we do not have a lift. There are flights of stairs to all bedrooms in the hotel. Should there be anything you feel we should be aware of in order to ensure your comfort and safety whilst you are with us, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Robes

Robes are provided for guests’ use. If you take one home, you will be charged. If you would like to purchase one, please ask at Reception.

Tariff is subject to review.

The management reserves the right to make any changes which it deems necessary to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
