Eating at Tregarthen’s Hotel is a feast for all the senses. Our restaurant has spectacular views across St Mary’s Harbour to St Martin’s and the Round Island Light House, with such outstanding views and fresh local food, our restaurant has attracted many illustrious guests over the years including HM the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, for whom an official lunch was held at the hotel. Our elegant Garden Terrace is perfect for enjoying a leisurely alfresco lunch, a proper Cornish cream tea or an evening drink, whilst taking in unparalleled views of Tresco and Bryher. Here, you’ll find it’s all too easy to lose an afternoon watching the boats come and go across the harbour. 
In our restaurant we strive to bring you the best of classic English cuisine with a contemporary twist. Wherever possible, our homemade dishes use fresh ingredients from Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, including day-caught fish from Newlyn and Lamb, Beef and Pork from Cornish farms.
Our pastry chef bakes fresh bread every morning and all our imaginative dishes are made entirely from scratch each day, so there is a new menu every day of the week. If you have a taste for lobster, it’s worth remembering that you’ll need to order a day in advance, since our trusty fisherman delivers it live on the day it will be served (subject to weather conditions).
